The Hopefuls
The film is a post-apocalyptic and futuristic fiction film about a young man who finds some hope through house music. Narrow News TV announces the revival of a form of underground music known as House. They send journalist Brigitte French New Rave on a mission to find out more about this phenomenon. Brigitte French New Rave finds in the street three young specimens who explain why this music is essential for their generation and how they feel hopeful for the future. Next, she interviews Dj Savior Deep who expresses his dedication to spreading hope for young people and invites Brigitte and her team to film him playing music at his underground parties called "The Refuge". The end is the moment of liberation for these young people who show the world their ways of feeling alive. The Hopefuls is more than a statement, it's a "release" from the director who wants to speak to all generations of music lovers and to deliver a message of peace.
