I am a documentary and fiction filmmaker based in Paris.

My interest in filmmaking began at the age of 16 when my father gave me my first camera. After studying Art History at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I learned filmmaking techniques and screenwriting in an MFA program in Integrated Media Arts at the City University of New York - Hunter College from 2015 to 2018. Since then, I have directed several documentary and short films in New York and France.

My work explores the boundaries between fiction and documentary, navigating between realism and the poetic world to convey social messages. In both genres, I delve into the complexity of my main characters, rooted in the cultivation of contradiction and contrasts, aiming to unveil complexity. I am particularly drawn to marginalized individuals and communities, those in the shadows as well as those “in-between”. My intention is to uncover their stories and contribute to the ongoing dialogue of these communities collective memory.

My films have been selected and screened at prestigious international festivals, including the Lee Strasberg Film Festival in New York, the International Nature and Environmental Protection Film Festival in Budapest, the London Eco Film Festival, the Arctic Open Festival in Russia, as well as Commune Image in France.

Alongside my filmmaking career, I teach writing and directing techniques in both fiction and documentary at several Parisian educational institutions such as the American University of Paris, Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, Paris IV Sorbonne Université, ECITV and INA SUP, while also pursuing a PhD on the documentary cinema of indigenous filmmakers from an ecological perspective at Aix-Marseille University.
